Appearance: She’s got dark brown hair which is often messy due to lack of care, that just about reaches her shoulders. It’s clipped back to keep it out the way of her eyes, which are also brown, and she wears gold stud earrings which are often hidden behind her hair. Her face normally has one of two expressions, boredom, or anger; though a smile is not so uncommon it looks out of place.
She’s around 5’8, and is normally seen wearing a pair of long dark jeans, with a plain black t-shirt, and a black jacket over the top, as she tends not to care about looks. Her pokeballs are kept on a black belt around her waist, and she’s never seen without them.
Personality: At first Karin seems like a relaxed person, tending to stay quiet, and listen, instead of talk. In truth it’s just because she’s fairly lazy, and can’t be bothered to anything she doesn’t think is worth it. However she’s got a quick temper, and is easily set off by anyone if they don’t watch what they say, and never lets go of a grudge, even for a friend,
She’s overconfident in her abilities, and as such tends to not listen in class, even at times sleeping, unless it’s about battling, in which case she’s the most attentive person in the class.
She loves battling, and does so with determination, and rarely holds back, even against a novice. She’ll never back down from a challenge, and is constantly issuing herself, to her friends and other prefects.
She’s a sore loser, and can’t stand to be beaten. If anyone does she’ll rechallenge them until she does win, and holds a grudge against them till she does.
History: Both her parents were fairly successful trainers, and she grew up learning how to corner and defeat opponents. She always dreamed of being the best, a dream many children her age had, but she was more focused on making it true, always making battle plans, or watching trainers battling on T.V., instead of working.
Her parents gave her larvitar when she was 8, and she immediately fell in love with the small pokémon, training it, and challenging everyone in the area. At that point in time she lost as much as she one, but slowly she began working with her pokémon, trying to decrease the number of losses,
When she enrolled at Sigma at the age of 11, again she immediately began challenging those is her classes, at the same time building a team of what she saw as strong pokémon. As she moved up she stop randomly challenging people, and began to specifically challenge certain people, who she was sure of being able to beat, but at the same time were strong enough to her for their defeat to be significant.
However eventually her climb came to a stop when she met one boy who she couldn’t beat, Kamau Sy. No matter how hard she’s tried he’s always beating her, and despite them now being friends, she is still obsessed with beating him, and become the strongest in the school.
