realization and reception

Aly's grandmother was in good shape for someone who's almost 90. When she came over yesterday to babysit because Aly's brother, Bruno, was on a school trip to see a region champion battle another region's champion. They left on Friday. To get there took two days, the battle took one, and two days to go back home. On the Sunday after he left, Her grandma drove Aly to the academy and signed her up.

"Guess i was wrong about you, Grandma." Aly said, guiltily.
"What do you mean by that?"
"I thought you'd wear dentures, and need a cane, and other old-people stuff."
"Well, it's ok! The last time we saw each other was when you were born."
"Yeah. Imagine the look on Bruno's face when he finds out I'm here!"

They both took a moment to think about what Bruno might say and do, and then laughed out loud. Then a receptionist came in, and Aly and her grandmother stopped laughing.

[Headmaster Jerrico]

"Why hello there," Terry smiled cheerfully to the two people in reception as he sat down at the desk and turned the computer screen a bit more towards him. One he assumed was a new girl, just a begginner by the looks of it, and the other something like her grnadmother or an eldery relative.

"I'm Terry. Welcome to Sigma Academy, how may I help?" he smiled to Aly. Ai, his aipom had jumped off his shoulder onto the reception desk and had waved to Aly, just sitting there

"Hello Terry. My granddaughter Alyssa Lee would like to become a student here."

Aly came up to the desk. She looked around to confirm her surroundings and make sure it wasnt a dream. it was so beautiful. Especially the forests outside. She finally asked, "How do i sign up?". She was ready for her new school.

[Headmaster Jerrico]

"Well, hopefully you've already sent in all the papers and information we need," Terry smiled to them, looking to the computer and typing a few things to search for Alyssa Lee. "That's the signing up part. If you've already given us the papers, then you can get your dormitory number and walk right in. if not, I'll need you to fill in some forms for me."

"I got bored so i filled them out in the car." Alyssa said, calmly. It was hard because she was jumping with excitement. soon she'd get settled in and become herself again. she handed the papers to terry.

[Headmaster Jerrico]

"And you just need to sign them and fill in the guardian part please," Terry smiled to the grandmother and truned them towards her, putting down a pen. He started typing things up on the computer.

Aly's grandmother quickly filled out the guardian requirements. she also added Bruno's information because when she went back home, it was closer for Bruno to come. "All done." replied Aly's grandmother. Aly hugged her grandma goodbye before she exited the building and drove away.

Terry took the sheets of her as Ai his Aipom scampered out of view. "Okay...hang on a few ticks while I enter your details. My you are lucky it's me on duty and not Tori...." he was typing, eyes fixed on the screen with his head tilted slightly.

"ok then." said aly. she hoped he would be quick, she wanted to find what dorm she was in so she could unpack.

[Headmaster Jerrico]

"Okay...there's a space in the ice dormitory, that's on the fourth floor, and your locker is number...I1," Terry said looking up at her and giving a smile. "This week is mainly just students arriving and signing up to classes. So find out what you want to do, buy your books, and then go and sign your name up at the classrooms."

Ai reappeared, running up to Aly and jumping onto her shoulder. The little aipom held a starter kit out to her.

"That's your starter kit. It contains five pokeballs, two potions, an antidote, a pokedex and a map of the school."

"Great. So, i'll see you around. I'm going to go unpack. Later! She took the aipom off her shoulder, grabbed the started kit and ran upstairs.

(OOC: Yep, that's fine, just please edit your post to say she takes the starter kit, unless you intend her to leave it, in which case please put that she ignores it. SHe's also currently got an Aipom on her shoulder that she might want to make sure gets off first before she charges off.)
