A new Beginning

After having said goodbye to his parents, Fand had left his parents to drive off as he headed for the reception to sign in. He couldn't believe they would become emotional and ask that he think it over again the night before he was going. It was a thing he said over and over again, that he was already intent on going and that he would rather go than stay home. A sigh soon escaped from him and he gave a smile, since he was finally able to be free from their clutches.

As he got to the door and opened it, he looked around to see what the reception area was like. It was kind of spacious, not very many people around besides those behind the desk. Fang couldn't believe that it was going to be like this when he was going to stay. At the base of his leg, a small pokemon was waiting paitently before going as soon as Fang went. Fang smiled at the small Vulpix, since this was the one pokemon he wanted to have at the time being.

Once he was at the front desk, Fang looked about, a little nervous of what was going to happen. "Hello. I'm here to sign in for the academy," he said, quite unsure of what was going to happen. This was new and it was going to keep him with a new life on what he was going to do. This was new for him and he couldn't help but have a wonder of how he was going to be living his new life.

Tori was typing away at the computer on the desk as she heard the door open, yet she didn't even look up, just kept on typing, hoping it was just a teacher or something returning. However when whoever it was stepped up to the desk, it was obvious it wasn't, so with a sigh she turned to face them.

Seeing the white haired boy standing their, she smiled slightly, but was still irritated at having been distracted from her work. Of course, it was part of her job, signing in new students, but it still sometimes annoyed.

She nodded to him, and turned back to her computer, bringing up a list. "Your name?" She got straight to the point.

At the same time a large white fox came walking round the edge of the desk head held high. Tori's Ninetails calmly obeserved the two newcomers before gracefully walking over and sniffing the smaller vulpix. Then as quickly as she had come she dissapeared back around the desk again, as Tori looked up at the boy, awaiting an answer.

He nodded, and looking at the Ninetails for a second, he turned back to the person at the reception desk. "Basu or Fang, I don't really know what my parents chose to use," Fang said, waiting for a result. He couldn't help but think it was going to a little like what some private schools were going to be like.

Cynder tilted her head as the Ninetails came up and sniffed at her, but she wasn't too botherd by the fact that it came up to her. It was neat for her to see another pokemon, and that of her evolution. After having looked at it for a few seconds, she started climbing her trainers leg so that she would be sitting on his head after doing that and watched in quiet calmness of what was taking place.

Tori nodded with a sigh, annoyed at the possible fact for having to search for two names. She searched through the list, and was pleased to find one of the names quickly. "Basu. basu Jainer right?" She tapped a couple more buttons, and read off teh information on the screen. "Novice Class.Water dormitory. Locker W1"

As she spoke once again Ninetails glided back around the desk, this time daintily carrying a small rucksack. She aproached Fang, before sitting down, and offering him the bag carefully.

"That's your starter kit" Tori explained in a bored voice. "In there should be a pokedex, 5 pokeballs, 2 potions, an antidote, plus a map of the school" With the explaination over she turned back to her previous work, no longer paying any attention to the new comer.

Fang nodded, taking the starter kit from the Ninetails. "Thanks," he said, and starting to head off. A smile spread across his face a little at the fact that Cynder wanted to sit on his head.
