"let's see, Beginners breeding" Karin was looking at the long list she held in her hand. Katelyn foollowed after her, browsing the shelves, Flare in his normal position on her shoulder.

"Wait a minute. Why are you taking breeding?"Karin suddenly seemed to realise the meaning of the book as she placed it among the others in the basket she carried.

"Because it'll be interesting" Katelyn replied quietly. Karin just sighed and turned back tp the list.

"Okay two copies of A full guide to training" She took the two books of the shelf, this time Katelyn was the one confused.

"Wait a minute, Why two? Do';t you already have your books" She asked. Her sister had been in the Elite class before the holidays, so she should still have all the books.

"Ahm yes about that." Karin smiled guitily. "Lets just say I was using Ember, my Charizard, in a battle, and things got a little out of hand" She grimaced at the memory. Her teachers had not been pleased. "Anyway, I think thats it" She walked ovet to the counter, Katelyn following, and put the full basket on the counter. "We'll take these please"

Karin frowned at all the stationary. That had been Katelyn's job. "Do we really need that many pencils?"

Katelyn just nodded. "I go through them really quickly. Same for the rubbers and paper"

Karin just sighed, and hoped they'd have enough.

"Okay...that'll be...two thousand and ninety poke, please," Nerd Edward said without a seconds pause, having quickly and easily calculated it in his head.

[Opal]

Karin grimaced at the amount, and reminded herself to have a talk with Embe rwhen she got back. Puting away the purse with cash she'd taken out, instead she handed over a card, discarding the plans she had for doing 'proper shopping' after this.

Nerd Edward, taking the card and putting it in. "Pin number, please," He smiled, turning the pad towards Karin.

Karin sighed, trying to remeber it. She hardly ever had to use the card, getting by by cash most the time. Seeing her sisters dificulty at rembering Katelyn just smiled and leab over, qickly and efficiently pucnhing in the numbers before anyone else could see, and pressing enter.

"THank you," Nerd Edward smile, taking out the card and passing it back to them along with the bags he had packed. "Please come again."

[Opal]

Not if it means spending that much again Karin said to herself, before smiling. "We will" She took the card back, and some of the bags, and walked towards the door, before stopping and waiting for Katelyn.

The younger girl suddenly snapped out of looking at one of the shelves, and after grabbing teh rest of the stuff, she smiled shyly to the clerk, and following her sister.
