As age doesn't completely affect your skill, students are put into classes instead of years. These classes are:
First characters should be novices and will be moved up classes accordingly by prefects. For second or third characters, they may be put in other classes, and prefects/mods will judge if they're alright in that class.
Mods have an elite prefect to start with so that they can make sure rules are kept to. Only Mods can have prefects.
Subject classes
There are quite a few classes that can be taken, and all are available to all students:
Students are required to take at least three, but can take as many as they can keep up with. They must sign up to their classes when they first arrive, otherwise they won't be on the class register.
Clubs include:
- Novice- All students start as novices when they first arrive at Sigma Academy. These students start with only one Pokemon, their starter and do quite a bit of work with the academy's pokmon.
- Moderate- As the novices show that they are getting the hang of things, they are moved up to moderate. by moderate they should have two or three pokemon of their own
- Advanced- Here the students are getting to be good trainers with a good knowledge of the pokemon world. They are mostly using their own pokemon now, and probably have about five or six.
- Skilled- These students show a lot of promise and potential. They're not that different from the elite as the elite are the best of this class, which is why the two classes have most lessons together. At this stage, most skilled students will have a full team and maybe a few extra
- Elite- These are a chosen few who are extremely skilled and are the rolemodels of the Academy. They usually have classes with the skilled class. A few of them are Prefects.
