Appearance:
Nero has shaggy brown hair that reaches to about his shoulders framing his face perfectly. They clash nicely with the bright green eyes that are always focused on his surroundings. It gives him a striking appearance, but at the same time a balanced one. His skin is a cream like color.

Nero stands at about five feet and ten inches giving him a bit of height, but of course there are people taller then him. He wears mostly t-shirts and a jacket of some sort that is left unzipped. Jeans are his favorite type of pants, but he will from time to time dress a little nicer.

The only piece of jewelry he wears is a necklace made of beads and dragon fangs, this necklace has been passed down for generations and is meant to ward off evil spirits.

Personality: Nero isn't the most positive person you will ever meet, but nor is he the most negative. He is a realistic person who doesn't delve into the pessimistic or optimistic mindset, but instead sees things as they are. He focuses more on understanding the things that happen, have happened, and may happened instead of categorizing them as good or evil. To him every action is simply a part of the massive scheme of things and that no act is inherently evil or good because such a categorization can't be universal because everyone differs in their ideas. Instead of trying to categorize things he tries to understand them and see how best he can use them to his advantage in protecting pokemon from the crueler trainers and how he may become a truly powerful trainer.

When it comes to people he isn't the quickest to trust, but he isn't distrusting either. Instead he tries to analyze people when he first meets them and decides if they are people he can get along with or not. When he feels he can get along with them he can become one of the nicest people people they ever met, but if he deems them differently well they find out how cold he can be.

Many people assume he is cold and stand offish because he isn't a warm person at first glance. He just doesn't like to show emotions when he first meets people because he has a fear of being taken advantage of or mislead. That icy exterior doesn't long when you get to know him however.

To his pokemon he is a kind trainer who does his best to take care f them and make sure they are happy. He does have vigorous training sessions set up for them, but he doesn't push them too far. He knows their limits and makes sure to train them in ways that push them, but don't hurt them.


History: Nero originates from Blackthorn City in the Johto region. His family mostly dealt with dragon types which was fitting to their location and also gave them the opportunity to test out their skills in the Dragon Gym located in their hometown. A lot of his family found themselves amongst the many who served Clair's gym, but Nero himself would never walk that path.

His family always knew he was different because he wasn't interested in only pokemon battles. He was interested more so in mythology of the legendaries and legends of past trainers. He spent his time studying up about the myths of places in the Johto region and became well versed in the Johto lore. As time passed that knowledge extended until he was well versed in pokemon lore in general. There are of course things he doesn't know yet, but he prides himself in the knowledge he does have currently. All of this has left him with a great love of Psychic and Ghost types however he does like all sorts of pokemon of various types, he is just obsessed with the characteristics and abilities of those two types in particular.

Nero loved dragon types, but he longed to learn more about pokemon. He wasn't satisfied with just training one type of pokemon and that he wanted to go out and see the world. His mother and father wished hi the best of luck and enrolled him in the academy.
