Sigma academy is a school for upcoming pokémon trainers, which provides a variety of different classes, which also involve things such as breeding and Pokémon contests. Students may enrol between the ages of 11 to 16, and spend a minimum of 3 years at the academy, which has its own dorms.
The academy has a number of Prefects who are students from the Elite class who excel at battling and other areas. They keep order among the students, and often accept challenges, although they are difficult to beat. Those who do win however can be expected to receive high awards.
